Severe Weather in Florida and the Great Plains; Heavy Rainfall in Hawaii and the Gulf Coast

Scattered severe thunderstorms will continue over parts of the north-central Florida Peninsula and develop in the southern Great Plains. New daily record high temperatures are expected for portions of South Florida and southern Texas the next couple of days. Flash flooding is expected in Hawaii. If you see or experience flooding, contact your local law enforcement who will relay your report to us, and stay out of flooded areas, as log jams can be unstable and give way with little to no warning.
